From Dr. Siegel:

“I believe that therapy is most effective when we work together to create a shared understanding of the treatment process. I aim to be transparent and genuine. I use traditional cognitive behavioral therapy and often incorporate mindfulness strategies which lead to increased self-compassion and acceptance of difficult emotions.

In addition to clinical work, I enjoy teaching psychology to undergraduates, conducting community-based trainings, and using research to better inform clinical practice. I have been involved in several research projects with the aim of increasing access to care in schools and the community.”
