Telehealth has always had a role in our practice

Telehealth (or “teletherapy”) are terms that describe therapy services delivered via video conferencing. It allows our psychologists to work with you online, which has become particularly important in the era of COVID-19.  However, our practice has been utilizing this modality for years, given that the therapies we use lend particularly well to this form of technology.  At times there are important certain clinical advantages, such as when OCD contamination issues exist in the home.

Rigorous training:

Each of our therapists has been through the rigorous training and certification process offered by the Telebehavioral Health Institute (TBHI), one of the premier organizations for training and certifying telehealth expertise, or its equivalent. We adhere to strict standards regarding where and how Telehealth services are provided, and use a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing service to conduct our appointments.

clients love telehealth illustration

Our clients love telehealth!

Clients that have used this service report to us that they love the convenience, and do not believe that the quality of service has been compromised in any way.

Teletherapy is available for all clients, and is a great option for those who would like to meet with one of our therapists but are not vaccinated or just want the convenience of treatment online, without sacrificing quality of care.
